So here we are down in the Lower 48 enduring THE WORST presidential campaign ever. Practically all we hear is how our glorious republic is rotten to the core, broken, infected, in need of repair. Our choice for president among the major-party candidates feels, for many, like choosing between the electric chair and a firing squad. Oh, our malaise!
